2. General Information on Data Processing

2.1 Scope of the Processing of Personal Data

As a matter of principle, we process the personal data of our users only insofar as this is necessary to provide a functional website as well as our content and services. The processing is regularly carried out only with the consent of the data subject or in cases where prior consent cannot be obtained for factual reasons and the processing of the data is permitted by statutory provisions.

2.2 Legal Bases for Processing

  • Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO — consent of the data subject.
  • Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO — processing for the performance of a contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures.
  • Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. c DSGVO — compliance with a legal obligation (e.g. retention obligations under commercial and tax law).
  • Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO — processing for the safeguarding of legitimate interests, provided that the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject do not prevail.

2.3 Data Erasure and Storage Duration

Personal data is erased or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage ceases to apply. Storage may also take place if this has been provided for by the European or national legislator in Union law regulations, laws or other provisions to which we are subject. In particular, we are subject to retention periods under commercial and tax law of generally six to ten years.

3. Provision of the Website (Hosting, Server Log Files)

3.1 Hosting by Shopify

Our online shop is operated on the platform of Shopify International Limited (2nd Floor, Victoria Buildings, 1–2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 XN32, Irland). All data that you enter via our online shop or that arises in the course of your visit is stored on Shopify's servers. Shopify may also transfer your data to Shopify Inc. (151 O'Connor Street, Ground floor, Ottawa, ON, K2P 2L8, Kanada) as well as to Shopify Data Processing (USA) Inc.

The legal basis for the use of Shopify is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO (performance of a contract and pre-contractual measures) as well as Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (legitimate interest in an efficient and secure provision of our online shop).

Third-country transfer: Insofar as data is transferred to Shopify Inc. (Kanada), there is an adequacy decision of the European Commission for Canada pursuant to Art. 45 DSGVO. Insofar as data is transferred to servers in the USA, this takes place on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF) and, additionally, on the basis of standard contractual clauses (SCC) pursuant to Art. 46 Abs. 2 DSGVO. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Shopify pursuant to Art. 28 DSGVO.

3.2 Server Log Files

When our website is accessed, Shopify automatically collects information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits. These are:

  • IP address of the requesting computer
  • Date and time of access
  • Name and URL of the retrieved file
  • Volume of data transferred and notification of successful retrieval
  • Browser used and, where applicable, the operating system
  • Referrer URL

This data is processed exclusively to ensure trouble-free operation of the website, to optimise the offering and to ensure the security of our information technology systems (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO). This data is not merged with other data sources for this purpose.

4. Cookies and Comparable Technologies

Our website currently uses exclusively technically necessary cookies that are required for the operation of the online shop (in particular shopping cart function, order processing, language setting). Storage takes place on the basis of § 25 Abs. 2 Nr. 2 TDDDG.

As the offering is expanded, further cookies (e.g. for analysis, reach measurement or marketing) may be integrated where applicable. We use such cookies exclusively on the basis of your express consent pursuant to § 25 Abs. 1 TDDDG / Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO. In the event of a corresponding extension, you will be asked separately for your consent via a consent manager (cookie banner) and can withdraw this consent at any time via the cookie settings.

5. Order Processing in the Online Shop

5.1 Data Collection in the Event of an Order

When placing an order in the online shop, we collect and process the following personal data:

  • First and last name
  • Delivery address, where applicable a differing billing address
  • Email address
  • Telephone number (optional, insofar as required for shipping processing)
  • Payment data (see Section 6)
  • Order content, order number, date and status

The processing is carried out for the performance of the purchase contract pursuant to Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO as well as for the fulfilment of statutory retention obligations pursuant to Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. c DSGVO.

5.2 Disclosure to Shipping Service Providers

To deliver your order, we pass on your delivery address, your name and, where applicable, your telephone number to the respective commissioned shipping service provider (e.g. DHL, Deutsche Post, UPS). The legal basis is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO.

5.3 Guest Order and Customer Account

You can order in our online shop as a guest without creating a customer account. Optionally, Shopify offers the possibility of creating a customer account via the "Shop Account" function. The provision of your data is voluntary and takes place on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO. You can have your account deleted at any time.

6. Payment Service Providers

When selecting a payment method that is processed via an external payment service provider, the data required to process the payment (in particular name, address, order amount and, where applicable, payment means information) is transmitted to the respective provider. The legal basis is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO (performance of a contract).

The following payment service providers are currently used: Shopify Payments (including the crypto payment "USDC"), PayPal, Klarna.

Data typically processed and privacy information of the common providers:

Crypto payment (USDC): The "USDC" payment method is part of Shopify Payments and is processed via the same payment service provider (Stripe); the amounts are automatically converted into euros. Technically, the transaction is carried out via the Base network; the blockchain infrastructure used for this is provided by Coinbase. A separate user account with a crypto provider is not required.

Creditworthiness and identity check with Klarna: If you select a payment method offered by Klarna, Klarna may process the required data to check your identity and creditworthiness and obtain information from credit agencies for this purpose. The legal basis is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO as well as Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Insofar as Klarna uses an automated scoring procedure in the creditworthiness check that is decisive for the conclusion of the contract, this may constitute an automated decision within the meaning of Art. 22 DSGVO. The respective providers are independent controllers within the meaning of the GDPR for the data processing carried out within their own area of responsibility. In addition to the information set out here, the data protection provisions of the respective provider apply.

7. Contacting Us by Email

When you contact us by email, your information (name, email address, content of the message) is stored for the purpose of processing your enquiry as well as in the event of follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (legitimate interest in answering your enquiry) as well as Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO, insofar as your enquiry is aimed at the conclusion or performance of a contract.

Your data will not be passed on. The data is erased as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected, but at the latest upon expiry of the statutory retention obligations.

8. Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your email address in order to send you information about new archive pieces. Subscription takes place via the double opt-in procedure: after entering your details, you will receive a confirmation email; only after confirmation will you be added to the distribution list. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the unsubscribe link in each email or by message to info@sehrjung.com; the withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out up to that point. Dispatch takes place via Shopify (Shopify Email) as a processor.

9. Rights of the Data Subject

You have the following rights vis-à-vis us with regard to the personal data concerning you:

10. Right to Object

Insofar as your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO, you have the right, pursuant to Art. 21 DSGVO, to object to the processing of your personal data, provided that there are grounds for doing so arising from your particular situation. 11. Data Security

We employ appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or against unauthorised access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously adapted in line with technological developments.

The transmission of your data is encrypted via SSL/TLS (recognisable by the padlock symbol in the browser address bar).

12. Currency and Amendment of this Privacy Policy

This privacy policy is currently valid and is dated 28.06.2026.

Due to the further development of our website and offerings or as a result of changed statutory or regulatory requirements, it may become necessary to amend this privacy policy. 2. Allgemeine Hinweise zur Datenverarbeitung

2.1 Umfang der Verarbeitung personenbezogener Daten

Wir verarbeiten personenbezogene Daten unserer Nutzer:innen grundsätzlich nur, soweit dies zur Bereitstellung einer funktionsfähigen Website sowie unserer Inhalte und Leistungen erforderlich ist. Die Verarbeitung erfolgt regelmäßig nur nach Einwilligung der betroffenen Person oder in den Fällen, in denen eine vorherige Einholung einer Einwilligung aus tatsächlichen Gründen nicht möglich ist und die Verarbeitung der Daten durch gesetzliche Vorschriften gestattet ist.

2.2 Rechtsgrundlagen der Verarbeitung

  • Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO — Einwilligung der betroffenen Person.
  • Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO — Verarbeitung zur Erfüllung eines Vertrags oder zur Durchführung vorvertraglicher Maßnahmen.
  • Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. c DSGVO — Erfüllung einer rechtlichen Verpflichtung (z.B. handels- und steuerrechtliche Aufbewahrungspflichten).
  • Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO — Verarbeitung zur Wahrung berechtigter Interessen, sofern nicht die Interessen oder Grundrechte und Grundfreiheiten der betroffenen Person überwiegen.

2.3 Datenlöschung und Speicherdauer

Personenbezogene Daten werden gelöscht oder gesperrt, sobald der Zweck der Speicherung entfällt. Eine Speicherung kann darüber hinaus erfolgen, wenn dies durch den europäischen oder nationalen Gesetzgeber in unionsrechtlichen Verordnungen, Gesetzen oder sonstigen Vorschriften, denen wir unterliegen, vorgesehen wurde. Insbesondere unterliegen wir handels- und steuerrechtlichen Aufbewahrungsfristen von in der Regel sechs bis zehn Jahren.

3. Bereitstellung der Website (Hosting, Server-Logfiles)

3.1 Hosting durch Shopify

Unser Onlineshop wird auf der Plattform der Shopify International Limited (2nd Floor, Victoria Buildings, 1–2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, D04 XN32, Irland) betrieben. Sämtliche Daten, die Sie über unseren Onlineshop eingeben oder die im Rahmen Ihres Besuchs anfallen, werden auf den Servern von Shopify gespeichert. Shopify kann Ihre Daten zudem an die Shopify Inc. (151 O'Connor Street, Ground floor, Ottawa, ON, K2P 2L8, Kanada) sowie an die Shopify Data Processing (USA) Inc. übermitteln.

Rechtsgrundlage für die Nutzung von Shopify ist Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO (Vertragserfüllung und vorvertragliche Maßnahmen) sowie Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (berechtigtes Interesse an einer effizienten und sicheren Bereitstellung unseres Onlineshops).

Drittlandtransfer: Soweit Daten an Shopify Inc. (Kanada) übermittelt werden, besteht für Kanada ein Angemessenheitsbeschluss der Europäischen Kommission gemäß Art. 45 DSGVO. Soweit Daten an Server in den USA übermittelt werden, erfolgt dies auf Grundlage des EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF) und ergänzend auf Grundlage von Standardvertragsklauseln (SCC) gemäß Art. 46 Abs. 2 DSGVO. Mit Shopify haben wir einen Vertrag zur Auftragsverarbeitung gemäß Art. 28 DSGVO geschlossen.

3.2 Server-Logfiles

Beim Aufruf unserer Website werden durch Shopify automatisch Informationen in sogenannten Server-Logfiles erhoben, die Ihr Browser übermittelt. Dies sind:

  • IP-Adresse des anfragenden Rechners
  • Datum und Uhrzeit des Zugriffs
  • Name und URL der abgerufenen Datei
  • Übertragene Datenmenge und Meldung über erfolgreichen Abruf
  • Verwendeter Browser und ggf. das Betriebssystem
  • Referrer-URL

Diese Daten werden ausschließlich zur Sicherstellung eines störungsfreien Betriebs der Website, zur Optimierung des Angebots und zur Gewährleistung der Sicherheit unserer informationstechnischen Systeme verarbeitet (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO). Eine Zusammenführung dieser Daten mit anderen Datenquellen findet zu diesem Zweck nicht statt.

4. Cookies und vergleichbare Technologien

Unsere Website verwendet derzeit ausschließlich technisch notwendige Cookies, die zum Betrieb des Onlineshops erforderlich sind (insbesondere Warenkorb-Funktion, Bestellabwicklung, Spracheinstellung). Die Speicherung erfolgt auf Grundlage von § 25 Abs. 2 Nr. 2 TDDDG.

Mit dem Ausbau des Angebots werden gegebenenfalls weitere Cookies (z.B. für Analyse, Reichweitenmessung oder Marketing) eingebunden. Solche Cookies setzen wir ausschließlich auf Grundlage Ihrer ausdrücklichen Einwilligung gemäß § 25 Abs. 1 TDDDG / Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO ein. 5. Bestellabwicklung im Onlineshop

5.1 Datenerhebung bei einer Bestellung

Bei der Bestellung im Onlineshop erheben und verarbeiten wir die folgenden personenbezogenen Daten:

  • Vor- und Nachname
  • Lieferanschrift, ggf. abweichende Rechnungsanschrift
  • E-Mail-Adresse
  • Telefonnummer (optional, soweit für die Versandabwicklung erforderlich)
  • Zahlungsdaten (siehe Abschnitt 6)
  • Bestellinhalt, Bestellnummer, Datum und Status

Die Verarbeitung erfolgt zur Erfüllung des Kaufvertrags gemäß Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO sowie zur Erfüllung gesetzlicher Aufbewahrungspflichten gemäß Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. c DSGVO.

5.2 Weitergabe an Versanddienstleister

Zur Auslieferung Ihrer Bestellung geben wir Ihre Lieferanschrift, Ihren Namen und ggf. Ihre Telefonnummer an den jeweils beauftragten Versanddienstleister (z.B. DHL, Deutsche Post, UPS) weiter. Rechtsgrundlage ist Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO.

5.3 Gastbestellung und Kundenkonto

Sie können in unserem Onlineshop als Gast bestellen, ohne ein Kundenkonto anzulegen. Optional bietet Shopify die Möglichkeit, ein Kundenkonto über die Funktion „Shop Account“ anzulegen. Die Bereitstellung Ihrer Daten erfolgt freiwillig auf Grundlage Ihrer Einwilligung gemäß Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO. Sie können Ihr Konto jederzeit löschen lassen.

6. Zahlungsdienstleister

Bei der Auswahl einer Zahlungsart, die über einen externen Zahlungsdienstleister abgewickelt wird, werden die zur Abwicklung der Zahlung erforderlichen Daten (insbesondere Name, Anschrift, Bestellbetrag, ggf. Zahlungsmittelinformationen) an den jeweiligen Anbieter übermittelt. Rechtsgrundlage ist Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO (Vertragserfüllung).

Folgende Zahlungsdienstleister kommen derzeit zum Einsatz: Shopify Payments (einschließlich der Krypto-Zahlung „USDC“), PayPal, Klarna.

Typischerweise verarbeitete Daten und Datenschutzhinweise der gängigen Anbieter:

Krypto-Zahlung (USDC): Die Zahlungsart „USDC“ ist Bestandteil von Shopify Payments und wird über denselben Zahlungsdienstleister (Stripe) abgewickelt; die Beträge werden automatisch in Euro umgerechnet. Die Transaktion erfolgt technisch über das Base-Netzwerk; die hierfür genutzte Blockchain-Infrastruktur wird von Coinbase bereitgestellt. Ein gesondertes Nutzerkonto bei einem Krypto-Anbieter ist nicht erforderlich.

Bonitäts- und Identitätsprüfung bei Klarna: Bei Auswahl einer von Klarna angebotenen Zahlungsart kann Klarna zur Prüfung Ihrer Identität und Bonität die erforderlichen Daten verarbeiten und hierfür Auskünfte bei Auskunfteien einholen. Rechtsgrundlage ist Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO sowie Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Soweit Klarna im Rahmen der Bonitätsprüfung ein automatisiertes Scoring-Verfahren einsetzt, das für das Zustandekommen des Vertrags maßgeblich ist, kann eine automatisierte Entscheidung im Sinne des Art. 22 DSGVO vorliegen. Nähere Informationen sowie Ihre Rechte (insbesondere auf Erläuterung und menschliches Eingreifen) entnehmen Sie der Datenschutzerklärung von Klarna.

Die jeweiligen Anbieter sind eigenständige Verantwortliche im Sinne der DSGVO für die in ihrem eigenen Verantwortungsbereich erfolgenden Datenverarbeitungen. Zusätzlich zu den hier genannten Hinweisen gelten die Datenschutzbestimmungen des jeweiligen Anbieters.

7. Kontaktaufnahme per E-Mail

Bei Kontaktaufnahme mit uns per E-Mail werden Ihre Angaben (Name, E-Mail-Adresse, Inhalt der Nachricht) zum Zwecke der Bearbeitung Ihrer Anfrage sowie für den Fall von Anschlussfragen gespeichert. Rechtsgrundlage ist Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (berechtigtes Interesse an der Beantwortung Ihrer Anfrage) sowie Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO, sofern Ihre Anfrage auf den Abschluss oder die Durchführung eines Vertrags gerichtet ist.

Eine Weitergabe Ihrer Daten erfolgt nicht. Die Daten werden gelöscht, sobald sie für die Erreichung des Zwecks ihrer Erhebung nicht mehr erforderlich sind, spätestens jedoch nach Ablauf der gesetzlichen Aufbewahrungspflichten.

8. Newsletter

Wenn Sie sich für unseren Newsletter anmelden, verarbeiten wir Ihre E-Mail-Adresse, um Ihnen Informationen zu neuen Archiv-Stücken zuzusenden. Die Anmeldung erfolgt im Double-Opt-In-Verfahren: Nach der Eingabe erhalten Sie eine Bestätigungs-E-Mail; erst nach Bestätigung werden Sie in den Verteiler aufgenommen. Rechtsgrundlage ist Ihre Einwilligung (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO). Sie können den Newsletter jederzeit über den Abmeldelink in jeder E-Mail oder per Nachricht an info@sehrjung.com abbestellen; der Widerruf berührt nicht die Rechtmäßigkeit der bis dahin erfolgten Verarbeitung. Der Versand erfolgt über Shopify (Shopify Email) als Auftragsverarbeiter.

10. Recht auf Widerspruch

11. Datensicherheit

Wir bedienen uns geeigneter technischer und organisatorischer Sicherheitsmaßnahmen, um Ihre Daten gegen zufällige oder vorsätzliche Manipulationen, teilweisen oder vollständigen Verlust, Zerstörung oder gegen den unbefugten Zugriff Dritter zu schützen. Unsere Sicherheitsmaßnahmen werden entsprechend der technologischen Entwicklung fortlaufend angepasst.

Die Übertragung Ihrer Daten erfolgt verschlüsselt über SSL/TLS (erkennbar am Schloss-Symbol in der Browser-Adresszeile).
